Gabriela is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 15 years of experience supporting adults and children in Canada and Mexico.  Throughout her career, Gabriela has obtained additional training and experience in the areas of trauma, anxiety, and parenting.

Gabriela provides virtual sessions in order to facilitate access to therapy no matter your schedule and place of residence throughout BC. Through online therapy, you can process difficult experiences, ease the heaviness of anxiety, and receive support through your parenting journey. Gabriela’s goal is to provide the support and guidance necessary for clients to increase their own capacity to overcome the emotional obstacles to making positive shifts in their life.

Gabriela is committed to helping others and understands the importance of adapting the clinical approach in counselling to suit individual needs. To do this, she uses many strategies and techniques based in research and best practice. These include person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), strengths-based and solution-focused approaches, play therapy, family systems theory, and EMDR.

Gabriela has been described by her clients as highly effective, goal-oriented, and solution-focused while, at the same time, genuine and kind-hearted.
